Ohio State Energy Partners has provided more than $800,000 to programs through its 2021-22 philanthropic awards. The awards provide funding for proposals that align with Ohio States sustainability goals and support the continuation of successful initiatives or the development/implementation of new programs or research projects that continue the trajectory of meeting the goals. As part of its commitment to academic collaboration, OSEP contributes $810,000 annually to the university or affiliated philanthropic causes.

Ohio State's University Outreach and Engagement Awards honor faculty, staff, students and community partners for outstanding achievement in producing engaged scholarship and community impact. Congratulations to this year's recipients!

Attend the inaugural Education for Citizenship address

The Ohio State community is invited to join Executive Vice President and Provost Melissa Gilliam and featured faculty speaker Winston C. Thompson at the inaugural Education for Citizenship Address on August 29. An internationally recognized philosopher of education concerned with social, political and ethical issues related to justice and education, Dr. Thompson will help us reflect on the importance of civil discourse and our Shared Values in a diverse world.

The 2022 Education for Citizenship Address is on Monday, Aug. 29, beginning at 7 p.m. in Mershon Auditorium. Dr. Thompsons presentation will be followed by light refreshments from Graeters Ice Cream in the lobby.
