Ohio State Energy Partners makes annual philanthropic awards
Ohio State Energy Partners has provided more than $800,000 to programs through its 2021-22 philanthropic awards. The awards provide funding for proposals that align with Ohio States sustainability goals and support the continuation of successful initiatives or the development/implementation of new programs or research projects that continue the trajectory of meeting the goals. As part of its commitment to academic collaboration, OSEP contributes $810,000 annually to the university or affiliated philanthropic causes.Read more

A Practical Guide to Planning Collaborative Initiatives to Advance Racial Equity
The Divided Community Project and Mershon Center for International studies have released the second edition of A Practical Guide to Planning Collaborative Initiatives to Advance Racial Equity. This edition compiles the learning from U.S.-based multi-pronged and sequenced processes created to advance race equity in this country. Whether they are called truth, transformation and healing commissions or something else, these processes are designed to facilitate collaborative problem-solving over a period of years to achieve the equitable society that will afford each person the opportunity to thrive.

Working to reduce language barriers in health care
How do we improve the Columbus community? This was the question five students considered during their freshman year as part of the Eminence Fellowship, which is awarded to 25 honors students each year in an effort to cultivate leaders who will effect positive change in their professions and communities. Their answer? Vocalize Columbus: a free medical interpretation service for people who need it most.
